Happy Late Valentine's Day
How could I forget to wish all my beautiful and loyal readers and wonderful sponsors a Happy Valentine's Day!! I know you thought I forgot, didn't you??
Well I didn't, I have just been a tad busy. Actually I should just update you with the boyfriend. Of course I was with him Valentines Day. I usually spend three days with him a week. I do check my emails but I do get behind in my posting.
What we do for love - aye gals!
Last week, I had my mom come home for the day and bought a card and gift for her to give to my dad.
I bought her presents as well and so did my dad. I am keeping them here though until I go up to see her to make sure they get tagged and put in her drawers correctly.
As you can see I am kept busy like most of you with everyday life.
But I must take some time out for myself. That is when I spend a few days with the boyfriend.
But unfortunately my blog gets a wee bit behind. I am going to have to come up with better time management that is all.
Anyways, I did think of all of you and although late I hope you all had a wonderful day! Can you share with me what you did.
I'll go first. First I slept in. I'm talking major... But I was out the night before with my boyfriend so I guess it is understandable.
He gave me a lovely card, teddy bear and chocolate Mars bar. I told him I wanted to start eating more healthy. He knows how I love my Mars bars - so he thought it a wise decision to get me one of what I really liked.
I gave my dad his card in error from my mother. I'm not kidding. When I realized what I had done I just started to laugh and couldn't stop.
When he came to pick me up I had not put all myself together yet - including his present. When I went to get the card and sign it - it said to My Husband LOL LOL..
He said you should have given me this card - it would have been a hint. But I am not that type of person. I don't hint. I say it like it is or say nothing at all. But I must confess I did see the humor in his idea. But I believe in not giving a man too much confidence when it comes to these kind of matters lol.... Best to keep them guessing.
I had given my dad the wrong card from my mom. So I just showed it to him and said this was suppose to be your card. What can you do.
I did put together a nice array of Valentines presents for him - a teddy that sings, a bell you ring for a hug, chocolate and more. He really liked the teddy that sang. I was kind of saved because in front of the teddy he was holding a card. I said see there is your card (wipes my brow).
He made me french toast and a cup of tea for breakfast - he is such a sweet guy!
Now your turn what did you do?
